This Friday 2 December, Musica Copa returns to the inner west for its annual football fundraiser at the KIKOFF Soccer Centre in Marrickville. 21 influential music industry teams featuring a roll call of Australian acts such as members of Flight Facilities, Peking Duk, and The Delta Riggs, plus What So Not, Nina Las Vegas and more, have signed up to compete in this much loved charity 5-a-side football tournament, each hoping to win the highly sought after Championship trophy and a giant cheque for their nominated charities. Admission is a simple $10 door donation, with 100% proceeds going to charity.
Announced today is another fantastic line-up of DJs curated by FBi Click, featuring local crews Body Promise, Never Slept, Honey and Bare Necessities, the graduates of FBi Radio’s Dance Class 2016: GIRLIRL, Katia and Soft Hands plus FBi Click head honcho Sandro Dallarmi, Lauren Hansom and Sports.
As part of Musica Copa’s partnership with the Electronic Music Conference, the official draw for the tournament group stages is going to be selected this Wednesday 30th November (4:30pm AEST) as part of a very special Live streamed broadcast during EMC founder Neil Ackland‘s Closing Address. The popular Beer & Burger Bar, aka the Players Lounge, returns too with $5 tinnies, again hosted by the dream team of Young Henry’s and Mary’s Burgers.

Each team is playing to win money for their nominated charity with Musica Copa having have raised over $30,000 for charity since the event was established in 2013.
