SHAKESPEARE. His name sends chills down the spines of many teenagers.
SHAKESPEARE. He is a literary behemoth whose works continue to be produced even today. SHAKESPEARE. His pies were known throughout Sydney as gourmet delights, until replaced by some Jesters.
Sibils Collective is proud to present their last show of 2016, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” playing at Creative Space 99 Backstage in Darlinghurst.
It’s all of (William) Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets without any of the crappy bits, smooshed together like a scoop of mash potato, some peas and a human head pie. As Titus Andonicus says “It’s arty, it’s definitely farty, but moreover, it’s tasty!”
So come on down and enjoy the gastronomic delights of Shakespeare, the tragedy, the comedy, the history of it all.
It’s Shakespeare – but not as you know it.
