Clock and Spiel Productions presents an exciting new show – THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS – playing at The Reginald (Seymour Centre) from November 22 – December 10.

“Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one– the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts…”

– C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters

After a sell-out season last year, Clock & Spiel Productions are bringing The Screwtape Letters back to the stage across Australia’s East Coast.

One of C.S. Lewis’ most popular works, this literary masterpiece provides a humorously accurate insight into the frailties of human nature.

This theatrical adaptation is brilliantly funny and follows the correspondence between a senior demon, Screwtape, and his nephew, a junior tempter named Wormwood; who must secure the damnation of a young man.

Screwtape is masterfully played by Yannick Lawry (Australia: The Story of Us), while George Zhao (The Family Law) injects a physical comedy element like no other, in his portrayal of Screwtape’s assistant – Toadpipe.
