★★★★★ “A triumph for first time theatregoers… Simply put, the makers behind the first stage adaptation of The Very Hungry Caterpillar know and understand kids” Time Out

For so many children young and old, the beloved tale of the caterpillar with the big appetite is the first book they remember.

This Australian-made show brings The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life on stage to excite, educate and entertain readers and first-time theatregoers. Combining The Very Hungry Caterpillar with three more Eric Carle stories – ‘The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse’, ‘Mister Seahorse’ and ‘The Very Lonely Firefly’, this colourful, joyful interpretation of the books, will delight the whole family. Children will instantly recognise their favourite characters and be easily enthralled by their stories of magical metamorphosis, friendship and finding our place in the world. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, directed by Naomi Edwards and with 75 magical puppets created by New York’s Puppet Kitchen, this is a timeless classic for all generations.
