Merrigong Theatre Company is committed to commissioning and developing new Australian works for future productions, as well as supporting the work of independent artists with development opportunities through our Make It @Merrigong program. You can see the outcome of these developments in Studio Sessions. Studio Sessions present the ﬁrst public outing of new work developed on site by emerging and established independent artists.
Re:group performance collective are an emerging group of artists and University of Wollongong graduates who explore and create new works from scratch. They make theatre, performance, and media works that interact with the physical and cultural spaces in which they are performed. Their projects are experimental and explore pop culture and videography. Route Dash Niner will be their first work presented in two parts, the first in October and the second some six months later.
