“A winning sound.”
“Superbly executed, impressively diverse.”
“Australia’s answer to Queen Bey – powerful, sensual, soulful and heartfelt.”
Wrapping up her national sold out album tour over the weekend, future-soul queen and one of Australia’s most fearless musicians, Ngaiire today unleashes the exquisite video for ‘House On A Rock’.  Shot in Tel Aviv, ‘House On A Rock’ is the latest single taken from her critically acclaimed album Blastoma, which reached #41 in the main ARIA charts,  #6 in the Urban charts and has been a staple in countless ‘Best Albums of 2016’ lists.  With a recent feature in Flume’s mini mix for Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, Ngaiire continues to prove herself an indomitable force, supporting Leon Bridges ahead of her Splendour In The Grass performance next weekend.

Shot in Tel Aviv, a notoriously tumultuous backdrop yet cultural epicentre of Israel’s thriving creative community, the video was directed and produced by Dan Segal and portrays the frustrations of a couple after the demise of their relationship.  It follows the energetic visualisation for ‘Diggin, featuring contemporary dancer and performance artist Bhenji Ra.

A product of passion and perseverance, Blastoma features singles Once‘ and ‘Diggin’ as well as I Can’t Hear God Anymore’. Teaming up with long time collaborators Paul Mac and Jack Grace, the follow up to 2013’s Lamentations includes added contributions from Megan Washington. Ngaiire has also supported the likes of John LegendAlicia Keys and Sufjan Stevens as well as performing on stages such as Groovin The Moo.
