‘…a hugely entertaining show with heaps of humour and heart. So don’t be a dag, flock to it!’
– Sunday Telegraph
From the award-winning Monkey Baa Theatre Company (The Bugalugs Bum Thief and Emily Eyefinger) comes a woolly family musical for kids aged 4+ based on Jackie French and Bruce Whatley’s quirky and quintessentially Australian picture book, Pete the Sheep (shortlisted for the Children’s Book Council of Australia award).
Discover the irresistible story of Shaun the shearer and Pete the sheep on their hilarious journey from shed to salon. Imaginatively told by four performers playing shearers, dogs and sheep, this musical comedy is a fair dinkum story of mateship, following your dreams and being true to yourself – even if it means going against the flock.
With the creative minds of Jonathan Biggins (director of Mr Stink) and musician Phil Scott behind this production, you can expect parents to be just as entertained as the kids. Full of catchy songs and true ocker tidbits, this little ripper will have your whole flock giggling and baaing along!
